commercial matters and Business Advisory.The role will provide the opportunity to work across more complex entity structures while developing your technical skills and understanding of your clients' businesses.Responsibilities include:Preparing financial statements and income tax returnsPreparing Business Activity Statements (BAS)Working across companies, trusts, SMSFs and company group structuresAssisting with tax planning and taxation mattersSupporting senior staff with Business Advisory engagementsAnalysing financial information and assisting with commercial outcomes for clientsLiaising with clients and responding to accounting and taxation queriesManaging workflow and competing deadlinesWorking collaboratively within a technology-driven accounting environmentDeveloping your technical knowledge across Australian taxation and accounting requirementsAbout YouYou will have:2+ years' Australian public practice experienceExperience across Business Services and TaxExperience preparing financial statements, income tax returns and BASExposure to companies, trusts and other business structuresRelevant Accounting, Commerce or Business degreeCA/CPA studies commenced or an interest in completing the qualificationStrong attention to detail and technical accuracyExcellent communication and client service skillsStrong organisation and ability to manage competing deadlinesExperience with cloud-based accounting systems highly regardedA proactive attitude and genuine desire to develop your career within Chartered Accounting
