Lakes Hyundai is seeking a Parts Assistant to join our dynamic team on a full time basis at our North Lakes QLD location.
In this role, you will be the backbone of our parts department, ensuring that our service team and customers receive the correct components efficiently and professionally.
This position is essential to maintaining the smooth operation of our dealership and directly impacts customer satisfaction and service delivery.
You will work on-site at our North Lakes facility, supporting the Parts Manager and contributing to the overall success of our automotive service operations.Key responsibilitiesReceiving, cataloguing, and organising vehicle parts and accessories in the parts warehouseProcessing customer parts orders accurately and efficiently using dealership management systemsLocating and retrieving parts from inventory to fulfil service department requestsManaging stock levels and assisting with inventory counts and reconciliationProviding parts recommendations and product information to customers and service staffMaintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised parts department and warehouse areaProcessing returns and managing warranty claims for defective partsSupporting the Parts Manager with administrative tasks, including filing and data entryAssisting with ordering parts from suppliers and tracking deliveriesMaintaining accurate records and documentation related to parts inventory and transactionsWhat we're looking forPrevious experience in an automotive parts department or similar retail/warehouse setting is highly desirableStrong organisational and attention to detail skills with the ability to manage multiple tasksProficiency with computer systems and inventory management software,
