You'll work on residential subdivisions and infrastructure that make up growing communities across Queensland, with guidance from experienced designers around you.You'll be part of a design team delivering land development projects from concept through to documentation.
Day-to-day, that means producing designs for residential lots, roads, and supporting infrastructure like water and sewer networks, while building your understanding of how projects come together.You'll work closely with a Senior Designer, contribute to project deliverables, and have the opportunity to support more junior team members as you develop.
There's a good balance of structured guidance and autonomy, so you can keep progressing without feeling out of your depth.This is a hands-on Civil Designer position focused on delivering practical, high-quality design outcomes across a mix of infrastructure and civil projects.On a day-to-day basis, you'll be:Producing civil designs and detailed drawings using tools like AutoCAD and 12dSupporting project delivery from concept through to documentation and submissionPreparing plans, reports and technical documentation for client and authority approvalsLiaising with local councils and other stakeholders to keep projects movingAssisting with design calculations and ensuring compliance with relevant standardsSupporting and mentoring two junior team members within the design teamThe role is primarily office-based, with some exposure to site environments where relevant.Must have:Around 3+ years' experience in civil design, or close to completing an Associate or Batchelor's degree in Civil EngineeringSolid understanding of civil design principles,
