Be part of a $300M Tonkin Highway Grade Separations Project.Upgrading Tonkin Highway between Hale Road and Welshpool Road East.The project includes widening the highway to six lanes, new bridgesand underpasses, grade-separated interchanges, servicerelocations.
We are seeking an experienced, HSE Advisor to support andmaintain NRW's strong safety culture across our projects.
This rolewill work closely with site leadership to ensure effectiveimplementation of health, safety, environmental, and trainingsystems, while driving continuous improvement and legislativecompliance.
To be successful, you will have:
Substantial experience as a HSE Advisor, preferably in in aconstruction or civil resources environment
Minimum Certificate IV in Occupational Health & Safety
ICAM Lead Investigator trained
Current First Aid Certificate
Hold a Construction White Card
C Class Drivers Licence
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Have strong computer skills including the use of MS OfficeSuite and incident management systems
Previous experience in a metropolitan based role
Knowledge of the Work Health and Safety Act andRegulations
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting the project team to implement and embed theProjects Work Health, Safety Environmental and TrainingManagement System
Coaching Supervisors in the implementation of hazard andincident prevention on the Project
Conduct, investigate and report on all incidentinvestigations inclusive of development and implementation ofcorrective and preventive actions
Conducting regular inspections on Health, Safety andEnvironmental SE processes in line with NRW and Legislativerequirements




Develop and present innovative ideas to improve Health,Safety and Environmental aspects on the Project to promote 'ASafe, Day, Everyday'
Develop, implement and support HSE education and trainingprograms to create and improve HSE awareness
Champion health and safety on site
