Reporting to the Head Chef and wider leadership team, you will play a key role in delivering and maintaining service standards, mis-en-place, and contributing to overall kitchen performance.The role includes a wide range of responsibilities, ranging from leadership, dish costing and procedure implementation, assisting the leadership team with day-to-day management as well as contributing to dish development.
At Robina Pavilion, we take pride in crafting exceptional dining experiences that leave a lasting impression.Key Responsibilities:To prepare, cook and present (or otherwise delegate to other kitchen staff including cooks) food for service across all sectionsSupervising and coordinate activities of kitchen staff and other chefsInspecting supplies, equipment's and work areas for cleanliness and functionality.Stocktaking,
ordering and inventory maintenance of ingredients and suppliesMaintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistencyFollow all food safety, hygiene, and WHS proceduresKey Requirements & Experience:Applicant must have at least 1 year of relevant employment experienceEnthusiasm, creativity, and a passion for foodCommitment to excellent customer serviceStrong work ethicand ability to perform under pressure whilst maintaining standardsExcellent time management and organisational skillsAvailability across weekdays, evenings and weekendsQualifications:Applicant will ideally hold relevant vocational or tertiary qualificationsWhy Join Us?
