We are looking for an Allied Health Assistant to join our wonderful team.
We are seeking amotivated and adaptable
Allied Health Assistant
who is passionate about providing exceptional healthcare to rural communities.
This is a mixed role that offers an exciting opportunity to support our clients in a range of therapeutic settings.
As part of the Kerin Health team, you will have the chance to make a significant impact while developing recent skills and qualifications through on-the-job training and support.
This is acasual roleminimum 10 hours per week with the opportunity to extend hours.
This role will work in both Parkes and Forbes.
About this role
An Allied Health Assistant (AHA) works alongside our allied health professionals to help people work towards their goals and build greater independence.
You'll work one-on-one with people across the lifespan, supporting them to put their therapist's recommendations into practice through engaging, practical activities.
Depending on the person and their goals, this might include supporting a child to develop their communication or motor skills, helping someone practise everyday activities, supporting an older person with mobility and strength, or helping someone build confidence and independence after an injury or illness.
No two days will look the same.
You could be working with a child at school, supporting someone in an aged care or residential setting, visiting a client in the community, or working with someone in our beautiful clinic.
You'll work closely with our Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists and other allied health professionals, following individualised therapy programs and providing feedback on how each person is progressing.

Key Responsibilities
Assist allied health professionals in delivering therapeutic interventions and support services.
Help clients with exercises and rehabilitation activities as directed by clinicians.
Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
Essential Qualifications:
We are looking for a passionate individual who is eager to learn, grow, and contribute to our supportive team.
No formal qualifications are required, as we will provide full training.
Requirements
:
A genuine interest in supporting individuals' health and wellbeing.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Enthusiastic about working in a team and providing a high level of client care.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A positive attitude, with a willingness to learn and grow in the role.
Experience in health, fitness, or sports-related roles.
Interest in or experience with Pilates or swimming instruction.
