Babylon Sydney is looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join our busy kitchen team.We're all about high-volume contemporary Middle Eastern-inspired cuisine with an Australian influence, and we're looking for a hands-on chef who can lead a team, keep service running smoothly and maintain consistently high food standards.About the roleWorking closely with the Head Chef, you'll help lead the kitchen team across busy services while ensuring food quality, presentation and kitchen standards are consistently maintained.Your responsibilities will include:Supporting the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchenLeading and engaging the kitchen team during busy servicesEnsuring food is prepared and presented consistently to a high standardWorking across preparation and service in a hands-on capacityHelping maintain efficient kitchen operations and service flowMaintaining food safety, cleanliness and kitchen standardsSupporting stock control, ordering and minimising food wastageTraining and mentoring junior chefs and developing the wider kitchen teamHelping create a positive,
