Machine Operator | Reinforcement Steel | Wetherill Park
Transcend Workforce is seeking experienced Machine Operators from steel reinforcement, sheet metal, aluminium or heavy manufacturing backgrounds to join a busy steel reinforcement workshop in Wetherill Park.
You'll be operating cutting and bending machines in a fast-paced environment, with paid training provided on day shift.
Duties will include
Operate steel cutting and bending machines
Monitor machines during operation
Check finished products against bar schedules
Follow company safety and quality procedures
Complete training to operate different machines
Keep your work area clean and tidy
To be successful, you'll have:




A solid focus on safety and quality
Basic hand tool skills to set up machines and bundle finished products (training provided)
Good communication and problem-solving skills
The ability to read basic drawings and take accurate measurements
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and police check
Must have working rights in Australia that allow you to work full-time hours
Experience from a heavy manufacturing environment is essential for this role.
