A little more about the role:
Working collaboratively with the Senior Manager Residential Services and the Residential Services Managers at our Westbourne Park site to provide quality clinical care and services to all residents.
Providing clinical oversight across the site, ensuring care standards are consistently upheld and any concerns are identified and addressed promptly
Working in consultation with residents and their families in the planning, delivery and evaluation of the clinical care provided.
Delivering professional standards of contemporary best practice nursing and care services at your allocated residential aged care home
Ensuring effective and collaborative working arrangements with visiting medical practitioners and other allied health professionals
The supervision of nursing staff and personal care assistants
Essential Criteria:
At least 3 years' experience as a registered nurse
Registered Nurse Registration with AHPRA
Previous supervisory experience as a Registered Nurse
Outstanding leadership skills and the ability to motivate staff to achieve organisational goals
A demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with staff and residents
Ability to logically prioritise varying work demands
Strong organisational and time management skills
You have an understanding of the ageing process and a commitment to caring for older people
