You will support the underwriting team through endorsements, extensions, policy administration and broker service activities, while assisting with phone management and day-to-day operational support across the branch.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and process endorsements and policy extensionsReview scheme new business and renewal documentationProvide underwriting support in line with delegated authority levelsRespond to broker enquiries in a timely and qualified mannerAssist with the management and distribution of incoming phone callsBuild and maintain positive relationships with brokers and intermediariesDeliver high-quality customer service and accurate policy administrationWork closely with underwriters and internal stakeholders to support service deliveryContribute to continuous improvement initiatives and team objectivesSupport other facets of the MECON business as requiredAbout YouMinimum 2 years' experience within the insurance industry or a relevant tertiary qualificationStrong administration and organisational skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage competing priorities and work with minimal supervisionStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomesA customer-focused approach and willingness to learnExperience working in an underwriting or insurance administration environment will be highly regardedFull Australian working rights are required for this positionHow We Will Support YouAt MECON, we believe in supporting and growing our people.
