4 Pints Hospitality Group Pty Ltd – Traralgon VICWe are seeking an experienced and passionate Cook/Chef to join the culinary team at Hotel Traralgon.
This is a full-time position based in Traralgon, VIC.
In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals, maintaining kitchen standards, and contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
You will work collaboratively with our kitchen team to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency in all food preparation and service.Key responsibilitiesPrepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes, plating standards, and dietary requirementsMaintain the highest standards of food hygiene, safety, and kitchen cleanliness at all timesManage mise en place and ensure all ingredients and cooking stations are properly organised and stockedMonitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure dishes are cooked to perfection and served promptlyCollaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during peak periodsAssist in menu development and suggest creative culinary ideas to enhance our offeringsFollow all food safety regulations and health code requirementsSupport kitchen management in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff where applicableMaintain kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues promptlyWhat we're looking forProven experience working as a Cook or Chef in a professional hospitality environmentStrong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and culinary principlesExcellent understanding of food safety, hygiene standards,
