We're passionate about the work we do and take great pride in making a meaningful difference to the lives of children and adults who stutter.About the RoleWe're looking for afriendly, organised and compassionate Receptionistto join our team.As the welcoming face of our clinic, you'll play an important role in creating a positive and supportive experience for our clients and their families.
You'll be someone who enjoys working with people, communicates confidently and takes pride in providing warm and professional service.What You'll Be DoingGreeting and welcoming clients to the clinicManaging phone, in-person and online enquiriesScheduling and rescheduling appointments and filling appointment cancellationsStaying in close communication with our Speech Pathologists, both in the clinic and remotelyMaintaining accurate records and completing data entry in our practice management softwareProcessing payments in person and over the phone via HICAPS.Helping maintain a clean,
organised and welcoming clinic environmentSupporting the broader team with general administrationEscalating queries to the Director or Admin Lead when requiredAbout YouYou're apeople-focused, proactive and organisedperson who understands that reception is about much more than answering phones and booking appointments.You take pride in a well-organised office and enjoy providing friendly, effective and thoughtful service to clients and their families.You'll be comfortable working with children and families, able to build rapport quickly and confident managing competing priorities.
You'll bring a calm and positive approach to your work and enjoy being part of a close‐knit team of speech pathologists and admin colleagues.You'll NeedStrong communication and computer skillsA current Working with Children CheckPermanent Australian working rights with no restrictionsA minimum of 2 years' reception or administration experience in a healthcare settingIt Would Be Great If You Also HaveFamiliarity with NDIS and Medicare referral pathwaysConfidence using practice management softwareCliniko experience (a bonus)What You'll GetA 2–3 day work weekHourly rate of $31-$33.
