You need to arrive well presented, understand the brief quickly and be ready to contribute from the start.The workSpring brings increased demand across events, functions and hospitality venues throughout Sydney.Assignments can include:Major eventsLarge functions and event cateringFive star hotels, conferences and functionsCorporate cateringStadiums and large scale eventsRestaurants and clubsDepending on the assignment, Front of House work can include:Setting up function and event spacesBar serviceCocktail style functions and canapé serviceGala dinnersCorporate food and beverage serviceAgency work means different clients, venues and teams.
You need to adapt quickly to how each operation works and deliver the service standard required for that assignment.What we needYou'll need a minimum of 1 year's paid Front of House experience in a commercial hospitality setting.We're particularly interested in people with experience in fine dining, five star hotels, large functions, major events or other high standard hospitality environments.You also need to:Be well presented and maintain skilled grooming standardsHave strong spoken English for clear communication with guests and venue teamsBe confident carrying three plates during serviceBe confident carrying a tray of champagne glasses during serviceBe comfortable working across different venues,
