this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for.As aHousing Officerwith Vinnies Housing, you'll work from ourRockhamptonbased office and be part of a supportive, state-wide team delivering compassionate housing services to people in need.
You'll manage a small, focused portfolio that allows you to truly connect with tenants and help sustain long-term housing outcomes.What you'll do:Build respectful, supportive relationships with tenants to help them sustain their housingDeliver day-to-day tenancy and property management servicesSupport tenants who may be experiencing complex circumstances and connect them with appropriate services where requiredCollaborate with internal teams and local service providersEnsure tenancy and property compliance in line with relevant policies and legislationConnect tenants with appropriate support services to meet their individual needsConduct tenants visits as required to provide ongoing tenancy and client supportThis is aPermanent,Part-time(20hours per week) position, based inRockhampton.What we are looking for:A genuine passion for helping people and building stronger communitiesLife experience, emotional intelligence, and the ability to work respectfully with diverse individualsStrong organisational and communication skillsConfidence using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)A commitment to learning, teamwork, and continuous improvementAlignment with the mission and values of the St Vincent de Paul Society QueenslandWhat we can offer you at Vinnies HousingFull training and ongoing supportSupportive, values-based team environmentA meaningful prospect to create lasting social impactReady to apply?
