This is primarily a sales and student recruitment role , with responsibility for generating, following up and converting prospective student enquiries into enrolments across JMI's higher education programs.
You will work across both the domestic and international student markets , proactively developing relationships with education agents, schools, referral partners and prospective students while managing leads through the full recruitment pipeline.
While sales and enrolment conversion will be your primary focus, you will also support practical marketing activities including social media, email campaigns, CRM campaigns and basic digital content designed to generate new leads.
Your success in this role will be measured primarily by student enrolments, lead conversion, pipeline development and agent/referral performance .
Key responsibilitiesProactively generate, follow up and convert prospective student leads into applications and enrolmentsManage inbound and outbound enquiries from domestic and international prospective studentsConduct regular telephone, email and CRM follow-up with prospective studentsBuild and maintain relationships with education agents to generate international student referralsProactively identify and develop new education agent and referral relationshipsDevelop domestic recruitment opportunities through schools, community organisations, events and other channelsGuide prospective students through course options, entry requirements,



applications and enrolmentWork towards clearly defined individual and Institute enrolment targets for each intakeMaintain an active sales pipeline using HubSpot CRM , ensuring leads are followed up consistentlyMaintain accurate records of leads, applications, conversions, agent activity and recruitment outcomesRe-engage previous enquiries and inactive leads through targeted campaignsRepresent JMI at education expos, agent events, school visits, open days and information sessionsAssist with email and CRM marketing campaigns designed to generate and convert student enquiriesSupport JMI's social media activities and promote courses, events and upcoming intakesCreate basic social media graphics, advertisements and short-form videos using Canva, CapCut or similar toolsWork with external marketing providers where required to support lead-generation campaignsMonitor lead sources and campaign performance to identify the channels producing the strongest enrolment resultsWork closely with academic and administration teams to ensure a smooth transition from enquiry to enrolmentProvide regular reports on leads, applications, enrolments, conversion rates, agent activity and sales pipelineAbout youYou are a sales-focused and commercially minded person who enjoys speaking with people, building relationships, following up opportunities and achieving targets.
Ideally, you will have:Demonstrated experience in sales, student recruitment or business developmentExperience within higher education, international education or student recruitmentExperience working with education agents and/or international student recruitment pipelinesExperience in domestic student recruitment would be highly regardedA demonstrated track record of achieving sales, revenue or enrolment targetsStrong telephone sales and follow-up skillsConfidence developing current relationships and approaching prospective referral partnersStrong communication and relationship-building skillsExperience using HubSpot or another CRM systemA practical understanding of social media and digital marketingAbility
