Butter Fish Services is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team.
You will report directly to an Advanced Practitioner and receive weekly one-on-one professional supervision.
This provides regular opportunities to discuss complex cases, receive clinical guidance, reflect on your practice and continue developing your professional skills.About the roleYou will work with participants, families, support workers and other professionals to deliver high-quality, person-centred behaviour support.Key responsibilitiesCompleting functional behaviour assessmentsDeveloping and reviewing Behaviour Support PlansProviding practical, evidence-informed behaviour support strategiesWorking collaboratively with participants,



families and support teamsProviding guidance and training to support workers and other stakeholdersCompleting high-quality reports and clinical documentationMonitoring participant outcomes and reviewing strategiesSupporting positive behaviour and participant quality of lifeTravelling to regional and rural locations as a required part of the roleAbout youRelevant qualifications in psychology, behaviour science, social work, occupational therapy, counselling, disability or a related disciplineExperience in positive behaviour support, disability or allied healthWillingness and ability to undertake regional and rural travelCurrent driver's licence and reliable access to a vehicleRelevant NDIS screening and other required clearancesStrong communication, report-writing and organisational skillsA person-centred approach and commitment to ethical practicePart-time or full time employmentWeekly professional supervisionAbove Award WagesDirect support from an Advanced PractitionerOngoing clinical mentoring and guidanceSupportive and collaborative team environmentMeaningful work across metropolitan, regional and rural communitiesOpportunity to develop your clinical skills and career
