Quality Officer
Position Description
Responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining quality standards within Measurement Plus. A suitable candidate will play a key role in ensuring that products and services meet or exceed customer expectations and comply with industry standards.
The specific duties include:
- Developing and implementing quality control procedures, standards, and systems.
- Conducting inspections and audits to ensure compliance with established quality standards.
- Analysing data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
- Providing feedback to GM - Operations on the effectiveness of the company's quality control systems.
- Training employees on quality control and best practices.
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure quality is integrated throughout the organisation.
- Maintaining a current understanding of industry standards and regulations.
- Communicating with external customers and suppliers to ensure quality standards are met.
Prerequisites:
- A qualification in a related field such as quality management, or business administration is highly regarded.
- Experience in a related field, such as quality control or quality assurance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in oil and gas quality standards and regulations.
- Knowledge of statistical process control and quality management techniques.
- Solid attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong leadership and time management skills.
- Experience and knowledge of ISO 9001 is essential.
Expected Salary AU$70-80K + super per annum depending on level of experience.
