To be considered for this role, applicants must:

- Have substantial experience in fitting and turning, with a minimum of 5 years in the field.

- Provide relevant documentation such as payslips, proof of previous employment, a valid passport, and police clearances.

Key Responsibilities:

- Interpret technical drawings and plans to understand machinery and component specifications.

- Perform precise measurements and calculations for machining, fitting, and assembly tasks.

- Operate machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to cut and shape metal parts.

- Assemble, fit, and install machined parts into mechanisms and machines.





- Conduct regular maintenance and repair work on machinery, ensuring optimal functionality.

- Collaborate with engineers and other professionals on mechanical design and modifications.

- Adhere to strict safety protocols and quality standards in all work processes.

- Diagnose issues in machinery and mechanical systems and provide effective solutions.

- Maintain detailed records of all machining, fitting, and maintenance work.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Fitter & Turner role.

- Relevant qualifications or apprenticeship in mechanical fitting and turning.

- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to interpret technical drawings and perform exact measurements.
