About the Employer
Our client is an established engineering, construction and operations business delivering transport, building, water and other infrastructure works across Australia. Its multidisciplinary teams support the development and operation of assets used by local communities.
The Opportunity
Lead structural work fronts on a complex infrastructure programme, coordinating site teams to meet safety, quality and programme requirements.
Your Work
• Allocate crews, subcontractors and site resources to daily structural works.
• Coordinate with engineers and superintendents and verify compliance with drawings and inspection plans.
• Monitor progress and subcontract performance and resolve delays and construction constraints.
• Run pre-starts and toolbox discussions and maintain safe work practices.
• Keep records of activities, inspections and delivery issues.
RequirementsSkills, Education and Requirements
• Experience as a structures supervisor, foreman or similar on substantial infrastructure or construction projects.
• Robust structural-construction, sequencing and quality knowledge.
• Proven crew leadership and subcontractor coordination.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and inspection requirements.
• Clear communication and a hands-on, practical approach to safety and delivery.
