About the Opportunity

Konnecting Recruitment is seeking an Experienced Veterinarian on behalf of an established small animal practice in Perth. This opportunity combines a broad general practice caseload with exposure to urgent and emergency presentations, allowing you to develop your clinical skills within daytime working hours.

You’ll join a team-oriented team of three veterinarians, including an experienced Head Vet, supported by four veterinary nurses and a Practice Manager. The clinic serves a diverse local community and offers an even mix of feline and canine patients, with facilities supporting ultrasound, soft tissue surgery and dentistry.
Key Responsibilities

- Deliver comprehensive veterinary consultations and preventative care for small animals.
- Assess, diagnose and manage a varied medical caseload.
- Triage and treat urgent and emergency presentations during clinic hours.
- Perform routine surgery, soft tissue procedures and dental treatments within your clinical expertise.
- Use diagnostic tools, including ultrasound, to inform treatment plans.
- Communicate clearly with pet owners about treatment options and ongoing care.
- Collaborate with the clinical team and maintain accurate patient records.

About You

- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, Bachelor of Veterinary Science or equivalent qualification.
- Current registration or eligibility to practise in Western Australia, with the required radiation licence.
- At least three years’ experience in small animal practice.
- Confidence in consultations and routine surgery, with an interest in developing urgent and emergency care skills.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
- Ability to work effectively in a busy clinical environment.
