If leasing is your specialty, this is the one for you. Joining a top Real Estate group you'd be part of an award-winning National law firm as a Leasing Paralegal, on a fixed term contract. The team advises both owners and occupiers across industrial, commercial and retail property, from headline leases to more intricate arrangements.
You'll be given genuine independence here, with files of your own and plenty of direct client contact. You'll also have Partners who are known for their "easy to work with" nature and who take a real interest in where your career goes.
The Work
Day to day, you'll be drafting and negotiating lease documents, tracking critical dates and managing correspondence. You'll also work on licences, assignments, variations and renewals, along with any other documents a leasing matter calls for.
Clients and outside parties will deal with you directly, so you'll be the one making sure each matter keeps moving and its records stay accurate. On the larger, more complex transactions, you'll work alongside the Partners and lawyers as part of the wider team.
What You'll Need
You'll already have experience as a Leasing Paralegal, ideally in a mid-tier or larger firm, and you'll know your way around commercial leasing from start to finish. You'll also bring:
- Solid drafting skills & a sharp eye for detail
- An organised, proactive approach to a busy workload
- Confidence dealing with clients & colleagues
- The ability to work on your own or as part of a small team
- Good judgement, a positive outlook & real care for client service
