TRS Resourcing is seeking a trade-qualified Diesel Mechanic / Heavy Vehicle Mechanics for a full time night shift opportunity with an established heavy vehicle workshop in Melbourne’s south-eastern suburbs.
This position will suit an experienced mechanics who enjoys working on prime movers and heavy commercial vehicles and is looking for stable, long-term employment with a consistent evening/night shift.
The position offers a 5:00 PM start and applicable shift loadings on top of the base rate.

The Role Working within an experienced workshop team, your responsibilities will include:
- Scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
- Repairs to engines, transmissions, braking systems, steering, suspension and driveline components
- Carrying out vehicle inspections and identifying required repairs
- General mechanical repairs and component replacement
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
- Accurately recording servicing and repair work
About You To be considered for this position, you will require:
- An Australian-recognised Heavy Vehicle or Diesel Mechanic trade qualification
- Strong hands-on experience servicing and repairing prime movers and heavy vehicles
- Sound diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Experience across a range of heavy vehicle systems
- The ability to work independently and as part of a workshop team
- A strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Availability to work a afternoon shift commencing at 5:00 PM
