We are looking for an Occupational Therapist role where you can actually enjoy your work without feeling like every hour of your day is dictated by billable targets?

What’s On Offer?

- $80,000 – $110,000 + super
- Full-time permanent
- Approximately 3 community days + 2 WFH days
- Manageable caseload
- Around 5 geographically grouped clients per day
- No billable pressure
- Strong existing referral pipeline
- Annual salary reviews
- Weekly supervision
- Monthly professional development
- Regular workshops and guest speakers
- Peer review on reports and collaborative clinical support
- Structured 6-month graduate program
- Opportunities to develop medico-legal experience
- Established team with long-term clinicians with over 4 years' retention

Your caseload will be approximately:

- 60% adults / 40% paediatrics
- Community work in schools for paeds
- 3 Days in community, 2 days working from home
- Ages from 10 years and above
- Functional Capacity Assessments
- Assistive Technology and wheelchair assessments
- Capacity-building interventions
- Opportunities to develop experience in medico-legal reporting

You’ll generally see around 5 clients per day, grouped geographically to minimise travel, with most clinicians finishing their community appointments by approximately 3pm before completing any remaining administration from home.

There is no culture of chasing unrealistic billables or putting clinicians under constant KPI pressure. The focus is on completing quality work, supporting your clients and maintaining a sustainable workload.

The Opportunity: Join an established allied health provider that has been operating for approximately 7 years and has developed a strong presence across the NDIS and medico-legal space.

You’ll become part of a mobile team of approximately 8 Occupational Therapists,

working predominantly across Blacktown, St Marys and surrounding areas. With a surrounding MDT to support.

The organisation also works closely with lawyers on medico-legal matters, creating opportunities for clinicians interested in developing more advanced assessment and report-writing skills.

A Workload Designed to Be Sustainable This role would particularly suit an Occupational Therapist who enjoys working autonomously but doesn’t want an excessively heavy caseload or highly KPI-driven environment.

Your typical week will include approximately:
3 days in the community + 2 days working from home
This can vary depending on your appointments and preferences.
Clients are intentionally scheduled within similar geographical areas to minimise unnecessary travel, with clinicians generally seeing approximately 5 clients per day.

Rather than constantly focusing on daily billable targets, the team operates with a broader monthly productivity expectation that existing clinicians comfortably achieve.

New Graduates & Early-Career OTs: Current graduates are very welcome to apply.
A structured 6-month graduate development program is available, designed to progressively build your confidence across different areas of Occupational Therapy.
Your onboarding includes:

- 1.5 weeks of structured induction and shadowing
- Systems and process training
- Gradual introduction to your caseload
- Weekly 1-hour supervision with an experienced OT face-to-face

- Ongoing access to an experienced supervisor
- Monthly professional development sessions
- External workshops and guest speakers
- Peer review of reports and assessments
- Development across FCA, AT, wheelchairs, paediatrics and complex reporting

The emphasis during your first six months is on developing your clinical skillset rather than expecting you to immediately operate like an experienced clinician.

You’ll have the chance to contribute to clinical quality, support less experienced clinicians and continue developing within more complex assessment work.

The Team: You’ll join a friendly team, with many clinicians in their 20s and 30s.
The environment suits someone who enjoys having autonomy over their day without being micromanaged, while still knowing there is clinical support available when needed.

The organisation is particularly interested in finding clinicians who want to settle into a role for the long term, develop their skills and become part of the team, rather than simply moving through another short-term position.
Who Can Apply? Applications are welcomed from:

- New Graduate Occupational Therapists
- Early-Career OTs
- Experienced Occupational Therapists
- Senior Occupational Therapists
- OTs interested in NDIS or medico-legal work

You will need to be comfortable working autonomously within the community and travelling throughout the Blacktown/St Marys region.

If you’re looking for an OT position where you can develop your clinical skills and still have a workload that feels manageable, this is an excellent opportunity to consider.

Apply today or get in touch for a confidential discussion about the team, caseload and working arrangements.
