Operating across paediatric allied health, NDIS and government-funded school-based programs. We are looking for a commercially minded Human Resources Business Partner to join the team and work closely with senior leadership, finance and the Commercial Director.

This is a hands-on HR role suited to someone who can balance being people-focused with being commercially realistic. You will support the business across performance management, employee relations, recruitment, retention, compliance and workforce planning, while helping leaders navigate productivity, KPIs and remuneration decisions.

The role: As the HR Business Partner, you will support the full employee lifecycle while acting as a trusted advisor to leadership and managers across the organisation.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Providing HR support across NDIS, allied health and government-funded school-based services
- Advising managers on performance management, productivity and KPI expectations
- Managing employee relations matters and facilitating difficult conversations where required
- Supporting interpretation and application of the SCHADS Award, employment contracts and relevant workplace legislation
- Working closely with leadership and finance around workforce planning, salaries, remuneration reviews and the commercial impact of staffing decisions
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding and retention strategies
- Managing leave, performance improvement processes, offboarding and other HR matters
- Reviewing and improving HR policies, procedures and internal processes
- Supporting compliance requirements associated with funded service environments
- Liaising with external legal or workplace relations advisors where required
- Monitoring changes to employment legislation,



Awards and industrial relations requirements
- Maintaining accurate HR records and systems

About you: We are looking for someone who can balance strong people skills with commercial judgement and accountability.

You will ideally bring:

- Previous experience within NDIS, disability, allied health, community services, education or another government-funded healthcare service
- Strong working knowledge of the SCHADS Award
- Experience managing performance, conduct and employee relations matters
- Confidence supporting managers through difficult conversations and underperformance
- A good understanding of productivity, KPIs and workforce utilisation
- Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of how staffing costs and productivity impact organisational sustainability
- Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation and industrial relations
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- The ability to work autonomously and use sound judgement
- Experience with HR systems such as Employment Hero would be advantageous
