The Role Our clients seek a full-time, experienced, hardworking individual to join their team for the upcoming harvest season, commencing in early November and continuing through Christmas, or further into January, depending on the season.
Operating a John Deere 9670STS header, you will work primarily in canola and barley crops alongside a chaser bin outfit. Daily responsibilities require strict adherence to machinery maintenance, including thorough pre-start checks, immediate reporting of any mechanical issues, and regular machine blow-downs to keep equipment running smoothly. A qualified mechanic is on standby throughout the season to support operation and maintenance.
We are looking for an individual with exceptional communication skills, a high level of maturity, and a strong work ethic. Mature candidates, who are looking for seasonal work whilst travelling, are encouraged to apply.
The Employer: As part of our client's team, you will collaborate closely with full-time staff and work under the guidance of the on-farm manager. You will be supported and directed by the manager to ensure seamless integration into the team and complete familiarity with farm operations. The Ideal Candidate Our ideal candidate brings strong, practical header operating experience, a mature work ethic, and clear communication skills. Attributes required include:

- Proven hands-on experience operating headers (John Deere experience preferred)
- Strict discipline with pre-starts, daily maintenance, and machine blow-downs
- Excellent communication and clear reporting skills
- Self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working 7 days a week during peak harvest
- Australian Driver's Licence
