Anila Recruitment is supporting a welcoming, privately owned early learning service in Redland Bay, QLD, to find an experienced and passionate Assistant Director to join their leadership team.
The service caters for approximately 70 children and provides a warm, supportive setting where relationships, connection and quality education and care are at the heart of everything they do.
As the Assistant Director, you will work closely with the Centre Director and Educational Leader to support the day-to-day operations, mentor educators and help lead high-quality outcomes for children and families.
Role Details
- Support the Centre Director and Educational Leader across the day-to-day operations of the service
- Assist with centre management, compliance and continuous improvement
- Lead, mentor and support educators to deliver engaging, play-based learning
- Support the Educational Leader with programming, curriculum and quality outcomes
- Ensure compliance with the NQF, EYLF, NQS and centre policies
- Foster a strong, inclusive and collaborative team culture
- Build trusted relationships with children, families and educators
- Assist with rostering, enrolments, documentation and audits
- Step into the Centre Director's role as required
- Contribute to ongoing quality improvement across the service

About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education and Care, ACECQA approved
- Previous experience in a leadership or senior educator role highly regarded
- Strong understanding of the EYLF, NQS and National Quality Framework
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- A genuine passion for supporting and mentoring educators
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to support day-to-day centre operations
- Current WWCC, First Aid, CPR, Child Protection and Anaphylaxis training
