Turn relationships into impact

Tour de Cure is looking for an accomplished and connected Chief Revenue Officer to lead our next phase of revenue growth. This is an opportunity to join a well-respected, purpose-led organisation and use your commercial acumen, networks and ability to build relationships to generate funding that makes a genuine difference in the fight against cancer.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll take ownership of new revenue acquisition across corporate sponsorships, strategic partnerships, philanthropy, major donors, trusts, foundations and event-led opportunities. You will build and convert a high-value pipeline, open doors, develop compelling propositions and create new opportunities for Tour de Cure – working with an exceptional network of corporate partners, Board and committee members, philanthropists, business leaders and supporters.

This is a hands-on growth role. We’re looking for someone who loves developing opportunities and relationships, is comfortable making the introduction and the ask, and can take an opportunity from first conversation through to negotiation and secured revenue. Most importantly, you’ll see the direct connection between the relationships you build, the revenue you generate and Tour de Cure’s purpose: curing cancer and changing lives.

What you’ll do

You’ll lead new business and revenue acquisition across Tour de Cure, including:

- Develop and deliver strategies to grow new revenue across corporate, sponsorship, donor and philanthropic channels.
- Identify, qualify, pursue and secure high-value new opportunities and build a strong, diverse pipeline.
- Activate your own networks – and those across Tour de Cure’s Board, committees, partners and community – to create introductions and opportunities.
- Develop compelling commercial propositions, investment cases and new revenue-generating initiatives.
- Identify new commercial assets and opportunities and help bring viable propositions to market.
- Secure new sponsorship across Tour de Cure events, campaigns and strategic initiatives.
- Generate recent sponsorship, corporate table and guest opportunities supporting our major Gala events.
- Lead opportunities from prospecting and relationship development through negotiation, conversion and contract.
- Maintain strong pipeline discipline,

forecasting and CRM management, providing visibility of opportunities, conversion and risk.
- Work closely with Marketing, Partnerships, Gala and the Senior Leadership Team to maximise commercial and fundraising outcomes.
- Effectively transition secured relationships to the Partnerships team for stewardship, renewal and long-term growth.

The role has clear commercial expectations, including growing new revenue, maintaining strong rolling pipeline coverage and converting Tour de Cure’s assets into compelling opportunities for sponsors and partners.

About you

You’re an experienced commercial, business development or fundraising leader who knows how to create opportunities, build trust and convert relationships into results.

You’ll bring:

- Demonstrated success in business development, revenue growth, sponsorship, strategic partnerships, philanthropy or major-donor engagement.
- A strong track record of personally securing significant new revenue and high-value relationships.
- Established networks and the ability to generate introductions and open new doors.
- Experience building and managing high-value pipelines from prospecting through to negotiation, conversion and contract.
- Strong commercial instincts and the ability to identify and shape opportunities that create value for both parties.
- Exceptional relationship-building, influencing, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Confidence engaging with CEOs and senior executives, Board members, philanthropists, donors and community leaders.
- The ability to develop compelling propositions and articulate a strong case for support.
- Strong CRM and pipeline discipline, with confidence using forecasting and performance metrics to drive results.
- A collaborative approach – you’ll be comfortable working across the organisation while personally owning and driving new opportunities.
- Energy,

resilience and the confidence to actively represent and advocate for Tour de Cure in the market.

Experience across every revenue stream isn’t essential. We’re interested in people who can demonstrate a strong history of creating and converting significant current revenue opportunities and who can apply that capability across Tour de Cure’s diverse funding model.
