The Role:

In accordance with the Netball NSW Constitution, expressions of interest are now invited from eligible individuals who wish to be considered as an Appointed Director of Netball NSW.

In particular, Netball NSW seeks applicants with expertise in one or more of the following skills:

- Risk Management and Compliance
- Knowledge and experience with the oversight of organisation-wide processes and procedures for the management of risk to ensure the success and integrity of the organisation.
- Non-Executive Director and Sports Governance Experience
- Previous non-executive directorship experience with sophisticated, contemporary corporate governance structures and accompanying policies and processes.
- Community and Stakeholder Engagement
- Experience that demonstrates engagement and communication across a range of industries, including government and the community sporting sector, to achieve desired outcomes.
- Leading Change
- Experience in driving or overseeing transformational corporate and/or governance change.





All candidates must have a genuine interest in, and a broad understanding of netball in Australia or the broader sporting industry, solid business acumen supported by demonstrable strategic aptitude, financial literacy, a sound understanding of good governance and well-developed communication skills.

Expressions of interest must be submitted in writing using the Nomination Forms set out in Appendix A and must be accompanied by a current CV.

Nominees for Appointed Director position must also complete, sign and submit the Consent to Act as a Director and Disclosure Form that forms part of the Nomination Form.
