Are you a team leader or supervisor who enjoys being on the floor, keeping things moving and looking after your crew? New Aim Ltd is looking for a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at our Laverton North warehouse.

The role
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you’ll help run the day-to-day operations of the warehouse and supervise the team on the floor. You’ll keep work on track, support and train your team, and make sure everyone goes home safe.
What you’ll do
Daily operations
- Help lead day-to-day warehouse operations with guidance from the Warehouse Manager
- Oversee receiving, storage and dispatch of goods
- Keep stock accurate and the warehouse organised and well used
- Work towards inbound, outbound and Cost Per Unit (CPU) targets
- Make sure warehouse processes are followed, and suggest improvements
- Check that equipment is maintained and in good working order
Team supervision
- Supervise, support and motivate permanent and casual staff
- Help organise rosters and manage day-to-day performance
- Train and guide new team members
- Help create a positive, cooperative team environment
Safety and security
- Follow OH&S; procedures and promote a “Safety First” culture
- Keep the work area safe for the team
- Report and log safety incidents
- Follow and monitor security procedures to protect stock and the site
Communication and admin
- Keep internal teams and external partners updated on logistics and stock volumes
- Complete day-to-day admin tasks
- Help out with other warehouse duties when needed
About you
Must have
- 2+ years of experience as a supervisor or team leader in a warehouse, distribution centre or manufacturing environment
- Current forklift licence (LF)
- Valuable understanding of warehouse safety and OH&S; practices
- Clear communication skills and a calm, practical approach
- Good computer skills, including RF scanners and a warehouse management system (WMS)
- Comfortable with a physical role and on your feet throughout the day
- Reliable, organised and flexible with your hours when the business needs it
- Full working rights in Australia
Nice to have
- Experience with NetSuite or a similar WMS
- Experience in eCommerce, retail distribution or bulky goods
