Position Overview
We are currently seeking a Mortgages Administration Officer to join our Operations team. This is an entry level opportunity, ideal for someone looking to start their career in financial services or gain hands-on experience in a professional wealth management setting.
As a Mortgages Administration Officer, you will support the accurate and timely management of mortgage allocations, approvals, substitutions and redemptions. With training and support from our experienced team, you will learn to maintain mortgage records and documentation, assist with regular reconciliations and audits, and work with mortgage providers, our Investment Committee and the Planning team to deliver a high standard of service to our clients.
This is a part time role of 24 hours per week, with flexibility in how those hours are worked – whether that’s three full days or shorter days spread across four to five days. It is well suited to someone who is organised, detail-focused and eager to learn. If you’re looking for your first step into financial services, we want to hear from you.
Position Requirements:
To be successful in this position, you will need:
- A genuine interest in building a career in financial services;
- High attention to detail and accuracy, with strong organisational skills;
- Competence in Microsoft Office and confidence learning new systems;
- The ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively and meet deadlines;
- Strong written and verbal communication, with qualified interpersonal skills;
- A proactive,
solution-focused approach and the confidence to ask questions and escalate issues appropriately;
- Previous experience in an administrative, mortgage administration or financial operations role is highly regarded.
