We’re looking for a commercially minded business partner who builds trust quickly, gives pragmatic advice and likes seeing their work translate into results on the ground.

Your work will help create the environment where great swimmers and great people thrive, supporting business growth and delivering great outcomes for families.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will be the trusted People & Culture partner for leaders across your assigned region. You will be passionate about genuine business partnering, building strong relationships and uplifting the capability of our leaders.

This is a true generalist role covering the full employee lifecycle and will be based in Brisbane.

In This Role, You Will

Partner with operational leaders to align people plans with growth, productivity and service priorities.

Coach and build leader capability across the full employee life cycle – building their confidence to manage people matters effectively.

Provide end-to-end support on performance management, employee relations and workplace concerns.

Lead organisational change initiatives within assigned region that strengthen employee engagement, team effectiveness and workplace culture.

Lead annual performance and remuneration reviews,



including calibration, ratings and remuneration discussions within region.

Advise on the Fitness Industry Award, the Clerks Private Sector Award, the National Employment Standards and related obligations.

Partner with our Safety team on WHS, workers compensation, and child safeguarding compliance across sites.

Collaborate with the broader People team on projects and initiatives, leaning in when required, to support other regions.

About You

Essential:

✔️ Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Psychology or a related field

✔️ 3–5 years’ experience in an HR / People & Culture business partnering role across a multi-site region

✔️ Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation, modern awards and employee relations practices

✔️ Proven experience supporting leaders through employee relations, performance management, disciplinary matters and workplace investigations

✔️ Highly developed stakeholder engagement, influence and consultation skills

✔️ Solid analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to balance people outcomes and business needs

✔️ A proactive, hands-on and solutions-focused approach

✔️ Ability to travel regularly to sites across your region

✔️ A commitment to workplace safety and child safeguarding

Highly regarded:

✔️ HR experience in an education,



childcare or child-services organisation
