Feramex is looking for an experienced MR or HR Truck Driver to join our delivery team in Tullamarine. You will deliver roofing products, architectural cladding and steel building products to customers and construction sites across metropolitan and regional Victoria.
This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in doing the job properly. You will manage your delivery run safely and efficiently, protect the product in your care and represent Feramex professionally with every customer.

About Us
Feramex is an established sheet-metal manufacturer supplying roofing, architectural cladding and steel building products to Victoria’s construction industry. We manufacture and distribute from our Tullamarine facility and are continuing to expand our team as the business grows.
What you will be doing
- Deliver roofing products, accessories and steel building products throughout metropolitan and regional Victoria
- Complete vehicle pre-start inspections and promptly report defects or maintenance requirements
- Check products against delivery documentation before departure
- Secure and restrain loads correctly, including long-length and awkward products,
and monitor load security during transit
- Safely load and unload products using approved equipment and manual-handling practices
- Assess customer and construction sites for hazards before unloading
- Complete run sheets, proof of delivery, manifest scans and other records using our mobile systems
- Communicate clearly with customers and the Logistics team about access, delays, delivery issues or site conditions
- Follow all safety procedures and Chain of Responsibility requirements, including fatigue, speed, mass, dimension, load restraint and vehicle standards
- Take care of company vehicles, equipment and customer products
What you will bring
Essential
- Current MR or HR truck licence
- Previous commercial truck-driving and delivery experience
- Safe and responsible driving history
- Practical experience securing and restraining loads
- Working knowledge of Chain of Responsibility obligations
- Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
- Reliable attendance, punctuality and a professional approach
- Clear communication skills and confidence dealing with customers
- Physical capacity to complete regular loading, unloading and manual-handling tasks
Highly regarded
- Experience delivering steel, roofing, timber or other building products
- Experience transporting long-length or awkward loads
- Current forklift licence
