Come join our team as a Medical waste truck driver in Perth WA! You'll play a crucial role in safely handling and collecting medical waste materials. If you have a strong work ethic, commitment to safety and the ability to tackle physical tasks with dedication, we want to hear from you!

Days & Hours: Monday - Friday with occasional Saturday morning work available

Shift Timings: Starting between 4-6am weekdays, typical shifts average 10 hours.

Pay rate: $39.89 per/hr + Penalties

Duties Include:

- Engage in physically demanding tasks, including the lifting and movement of heavy medical waste bins, Safely and punctually deliver medical waste bins to various healthcare facilities and collection points according to assigned routes and schedules.
- Efficiently load and unload medical waste bins onto and from the delivery vehicle, ensuring that all bins are properly secured to prevent spills or accidents.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from healthcare facility staff and maintaining a professional demeanour at all times.
- Follow established safety procedures and protocols to minimize the risk of accidents, injuries, or contamination during the transportation and delivery of medical waste.
- Effectively communicate with the dispatch team,



supervisors, and other relevant personnel to relay information about deliveries, delays, or any other issues that may arise.

What We're Looking For:

- Physically fit
- Valuable work ethic, understand importance of turning up to work
- This role involves strenuous physical activities, and candidates must be capable of handling the demanding nature of the job, including Ability to lift and move heavy bins, following proper safety guidelines.
- Understands that the role is not simply driving from point A to Point B

Requirements:

- Unrestricted MR/HR Licence
- PPE: Long sleeve top, long drill pants, high-vis top, steel-capped boots
- Must be safety orientated
- Ability to complete Pre employment medical , DAS & HEP A & B shots.
