Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Project Manager will be responsible for the leadership of the operation in accordance with the project schedule while driving safe and effective operational delivery. Duties & Responsibilities
- Leading and managing project teams to deliver high-quality outcomes within specified timeframes and budget constraints
- Developing and implementing project plans, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables
- Monitoring project progress, identifying and resolving issues, and ensuring that all stakeholders are kept informed
- Coordinating with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
- Preparing regular reports on project status, risks, and issues for management review
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations throughout the project lifecycle
- Providing leadership, guidance, and support to project team members to foster a collaborative and productive working environment
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing best practices to enhance project delivery efficiency
- Contributing to the development of organisational project management standards and methodologies
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in a similar role (In Mining)
- Effective planning ability, time management and prioritisation skills
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks within strict deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail
- Leadership and quality management skills
- Quarry Managers Certificate of Competency
- A natural skill in managing key accounts and contract deliverables
