The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated Casual Cook who takes pride in preparing quality meals and enjoys working as part of a supportive team.
You will help deliver a positive dining experience for our residents, cater to special dietary requirements and maintain food safety standards.
About You
You will bring:
- Certificate III and IV in Commercial Cookery/Hospitality.
- A Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and experience working within HACCP requirements.
- An understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards and special dietary needs.
- Respect for residents’ rights, person-centred care and dignity of risk.
- Strong communication, organisation and time management skills.
- A positive team approach and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Confidence using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Availability to work weekend shifts.
Experience in aged care and a current First Aid Certificate are desirable.
