Belt Splicer
Reporting to the Service Coordinator, Belt Splicers will be responsible for delivering high-quality conveyor belt splicing, repairs and maintenance while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality and customer service.
Key Responsibilities for Belt Splicer
- Fabric and steel cord belt splicing – hot and cold.
- Conveyor belt installations and change-outs.
- Belt inserts, re-splicing and hot/cold repairs.
- Conveyor maintenance and inspections.
- Respond to conveyor breakdowns and urgent repair requirements.
- Prepare equipment and materials for shutdowns.
- Work safely and professionally across customer sites.
- Identify hazards, defects and maintenance requirements.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors, coordinators and site teams.
Field Service Rubber Liner
Reporting to the Regional Manager, Rubber Liners will be responsible for workshop and field-based rubber lining activities, including hot and cold rubber lining, ceramic tiling, pulley lagging and shutdown work.
Key Responsibilities for Belt Splicer
- Perform hot and cold rubber lining of various components.
- Carry out ceramic tiling and pulley lagging.
- Complete on-site shutdown rubber lining works.
- Respond to breakdowns and customer requirements on site.
- Prepare equipment, tools and materials for field service work.
- Work safely and professionally across customer and mining sites.
- Support the team to achieve project and operational goals.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Job requirements for both positions:
- Current Drivers Licence
- Confined Spaces ticket, Working at Heights ticket, and Gas Test Atmospheres ticket
- Belt Splicing/Polymer Processing Certificate (desirable)
- Rubber Lining and Belt Splicing experience
- High Risk Work Licence including Forklift, EWP, Dogging, Rigging etc. (desirable)

- Safety-focused, self-motivated and confident to speak up and take action to drive a strong safety culture.
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening as required
- Actively support all members of the team to achieve the required goal.
