Good food. Great beer.

Who we are.

We started by turning a run-down, heritage-listed Civic Video store in Katoomba into an award-winning brewpub pouring Australia's #1 rated beer. Since then we've popped up in Sydney, Melbourne and Tasmania, and our Richmond taproom is cooking.

Now we need a Sous Chef to back our Head Chef and help run the show in the Richmond kitchen.

The gig.

You're the Head Chef's right hand and the engine room of the kitchen. Pub food done properly, with a bit of Melbourne flair. Food that's fun, packed with flavour, and built to go with a cold one.

What you'll be doing.

- Running the pass and setting the pace, the standard and the vibe on service

- Taking the keys when the Head Chef is off, and keeping everything humming

- Throwing ideas into seasonal menu development

- Training and backing the crew so they get better every shift

- Keeping an eye on stock, ordering, waste, COGS and labour

- Keeping the kitchen clean, secure and compliant, every single day

Who we're after.

We want leaders who aren't too proud to jump in the dish pit. You'll set the standard,



then roll up your sleeves and get stuck in alongside the team. Prep, service, close, whatever it takes.

Most of all, we want people who say "yes, if" instead of "no, because." Someone who hears a curveball and starts working out how to make it happen, not why it can't.

You'll also be:

- A Sous Chef with 2+ years under your belt, or a strong CDP ready to step up

- At home in a busy, high volume kitchen

- A clear communicator who builds people up

- Fussy about food quality and food safety

- Creative, adaptable and up for a laugh on a big shift
