Harris Engineering Services CQ is a growing engineering business seeking an experienced and reliable qualified Boilermaker / Fabricator to join our Gracemere workshop team.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, can work confidently without constant supervision and demonstrates a strong work ethic, reliability and commitment to quality.
For the right person, there is an opportunity to take on additional Leading Hand responsibilities as the business continues to grow.
About the Role
- General fabrication, welding, repairs and maintenance
- Workshop-based work with site opportunities
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Work independently and as part of a small team
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and workplace safety
- Ensure work is completed efficiently and to a high standard
What We're Looking For
- Trade-qualified Boilermaker / Fabricator
- Solid MIG welding and fabrication experience
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Reliable, motivated and able to work unsupervised
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to organise and prioritise work
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Relevant high-risk work licences highly regarded
Hours & Employment
- Full-time position based in Gracemere
- 38-hour working week
- Overtime available when required
- Hourly rate negotiated based on experience and responsibilities
- Opportunity to take on additional responsibilities as the business grows
