Velocity Truck Centres is seeking an experienced Service Operations Manager to help shape the future of Service across Australia's largest Daimler Truck dealership network. Reporting to the Vice President Aftersales, you will lead national service improvement initiatives, establish practical operating standards and partner with regional and branch leaders to improve performance, customer outcomes and efficiency.

What you'll be doing

- Drive operational excellence and consistent ways of working across the Service network.
- Improve workshop productivity, repair order management and work-in-progress performance.
- Lead national process improvement, reporting and operational audit programs.
- Partner with regional leaders to identify opportunities and lift performance.
- Strengthen service quality, safety and customer satisfaction outcomes.
- Use operational and financial data to solve problems and support decision-making.




- Contribute to the long-term growth and capability of the Service network.

What we're looking for

- Senior leadership experience in service operations, aftersales, automotive, transport, heavy vehicle, industrial or equipment-related environments.
- Experience leading multi-site operations or supporting a geographically dispersed network.
- Strong understanding of workshop operations, productivity, WIP management and service profitability.
- Proven ability to lead change and deliver measurable operational improvements.
- Strong commercial acumen and confidence interpreting operational and financial data.
- A hands-on team-oriented style, and a track record of developing capable, accountable teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A current driver licence and willingness to travel nationally.
