As Regional Manager for Outback Parks and Lodges, you will play a lead role in the development of the Alice Village accommodation facility and its team through leading the implementation of strategic priorities of the business.

The role

Whilst no two days will look the same, some of your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

- Provide day-to-day coaching and high-level guidance to the Village Manager to build capability, experience and leadership, enabling a high performing, customer centric team

- Provide onsite senior leadership to ensure the Village team are equipped with the support needed to deliver on operational strategies

- Ensure optimal work practices, processes, staff ratios, pricing strategies and occupancy management to maximise profitability and operational efficiency

- Monitor and analyze operational, financial and occupancy performance, identifying improvement opportunities and collaborating with relevant stakeholders to adjust strategies as required

- Oversee delivery of maintenance plans and activities, guiding the Maintenance and Grounds team to ensure works are secure, compliant, efficient and completed to required standard

- Actively lead the business development activities through promoting the Village through networking and community engagement

- Build partnerships and networks to drive new and increased repeat business

- Identify, develop and implement new strategy opportunities, and ensure the website reflects the desired brand messaging

- Take ownership for overall Village safety, security and compliance for all workers and visitors

About you





- A minimum of 5 years experience in a Leadership role within accommodation services, of which two are at a senior operational level

- Current Drivers Licence

- Excellent communications skills to liaise with various internal and external stakeholders, from frontline employees through to Directors and potential clients

- Extensive experience in Contract negotiations and/or management

- Proficient user of Microsoft Office applications, and Property Management Systems (RMS Preferred)

- Professional qualifications in Business Management or other relevant Tertiary education (desirable)

- First Aid Certificate (desirable)
