Processing Manager
Tomingley Operations are seeking an experienced Processing Manager to join our team, based residentially in Central West NSW.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will provide strong operational leadership to an exceptional processing team, with a clear focus on safe, efficient and reliable production. You will play a key role in driving plant performance, developing our people and identifying opportunities to improve recovery, throughput and overall operational efficiency.
Tomingley Operations is supportive of innovative thinking and continuous improvement, providing an environment where new ideas can be developed and implemented. The recent completion of the ultra-fine grind circuit is an important addition to the processing plant and provides further opportunity to optimise metallurgical performance and maximise value from the operation.
This is an exciting time to join Tomingley Operations, with significant growth ahead. A new open pit mine is scheduled to come online in early 2027, complementing the continued expansion of our underground operation. In parallel, ongoing exploration programs continue to show strong potential for further resource and mine-life growth.

The key responsibilities of the role will include:
- Implement and manage all Processing Strategies and associated Management Plans ensuring they meet statutory and company requirements,
- Provide regular communication to the site team on performance and future plans,
- Create and support an environment of continuous improvement,
- Manage and coordinate the annual budget and life of mine update and quarterly re-forecasting process,
- Identify departmental specific site hazards, and ensure controls are implemented,
- Ensure monthly reporting meets group timetables.
The successful candidate should possess the following:
- Bachelor degree in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent,
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role,
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills,
- Experience in a CIL Gold processing plant.

About Us:
Tomingley Mine, owned and operated by Alkane Resources Ltd, is a hard rock gold mine situated near the village of Tomingley, 50 km south of Dubbo in Central New South Wales. Our current operation runs an underground mine, and processing plant that is responsible for producing gold bullion on-site. The mine's workforce consists of over 315 permanent employees who hold various roles in professional, technical, mining, processing and trades.
One significant development for the Tomingley Gold Mine, is the imminent commencement of a new open-cut operation, 3 km to the south of the existing Tomingley deposits. This expansion takes the mine life beyond 2032.
