Assistant Store Manager – Premium Menswear

Lead the future of premium menswear retail

Henry Bucks is seeking an experienced retail leader with a robust background in menswear, tailoring or luxury fashion to join our flagship Melbourne CBD store.

As Assistant Store Manager, you’ll partner with the Store Manager to lead a high-performing team, deliver exceptional client experiences and drive strong commercial results across our premium menswear collection.

- On-target incentives of up to $50,000 per year

About the role

You’ll help lead the day-to-day success of our flagship Melbourne CBD store.

You will:

- Partner with the Store Manager to lead, coach and motivate the team

- Drive sales performance and achieve store targets

- Deliver personalised service to loyal clients and new customers

- Build strong relationships with menswear clients and repeat customers

- Support inventory management, visual presentation and merchandising

- Assist with staff scheduling, recruitment and onboarding

- Contribute to training,



performance development and team engagement

- Help implement initiatives that grow store profitability

- Maintain high standards of store presentation, compliance and operations

About you

You’ll be an experienced retail leader who understands premium menswear and knows how to create a memorable client experience.

You will bring:

- Proven experience as a Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager or retail leader

- Strong menswear, tailoring, fashion or luxury retail experience

- A successful track record in sales and team performance

- Confidence coaching and developing a customer-focused team

- Excellent product knowledge and styling capability

- Strong relationship-building and communication skills

- Commercial awareness and confidence working with sales targets and incentives

- High standards of presentation, merchandising and attention to detail

- Strong organisation and ability to manage competing priorities

- Confidence using retail systems and technology

Relevant tertiary qualifications are welcome but not essential where you have strong retail leadership experience.
