About Unmatched Support Services
Unmatched Support Services is a registered NDIS provider delivering person-centred disability supports across Victoria. We support participants to live with greater independence, choice and control while receiving safe, consistent and respectful support tailored to their individual needs.
We value Support Workers who communicate well, take pride in the responsibilities of the role, identify and escalate concerns appropriately, maintain strong professional boundaries and contribute positively to a participant’s care team.
Multiple Locations Available
We are seeking experienced Support Workers to provide consistent, person-centred support across Metropolitan Melbourne and surrounding areas, from the Macedon Ranges, through to Cardinia and everywhere in between - including our inner city suburbs like Richmond.
We are always looking to connect experienced Support Workers with opportunities closer to home. When applying, please include your residential suburb in your resume's file name (eg. Jane Smith - Werribee - Resume.pdf).
About the role
Depending on the participant, you will support people with varying mobility, communication, behavioural and clinical support needs. Our focus is on matching the right Support Worker with the right participant based on experience, skills, availability, location and individual support needs.
The Experience You Bring - or Want to Build On!
We welcome applications from Support Workers in our community with backgrounds or interests in one or more of the following areas:
- Supported Independent Living (SIL) - supporting participants with daily routines, household activities, independent living skills and shared living arrangements.
- Complex and High-Intensity Supports - experience supporting participants with significant physical disabilities, complex care requirements or higher levels of daily assistance.
- Mental Health and Psychosocial Disability - supporting participants with psychosocial disabilities, emotional regulation, recovery-focused goals and community engagement.
- Positive Behaviour Support - experience supporting participants with behaviours of concern, implementing Behaviour Support Plans and using proactive, person-centred strategies.
- Personal Care and Daily Living - assisting with personal hygiene, dressing, continence care, meal preparation and daily routines.
- Manual Handling and Mobility Support - experience with hoists, transfers, mobility equipment and safe manual-handling practices.
- Medication / Health-Related Supports - experience following medication procedures, health management plans and participant-specific care requirements within your training and competencies.
- Community Access and Social Participation - supporting participants to attend appointments, engage in recreational activities, build confidence and achieve personal goals.
- Communication and Neurodiversity - experience supporting participants with autism, intellectual disability, communication differences or alternative communication needs.
- Capacity Building and Independence - helping participants develop daily living skills, confidence, decision-making abilities and greater independence.
You don't need experience in every support area. We value the skills you already bring, your willingness to develop and your commitment to delivering quality support.
Our goal is to connect you with opportunities that align with your experience, strengths, and interests,
while ensuring the right match for each participant.
What Will Help You Succeed in Your Role
We appreciate the needs of our participants, valuing Support Workers who:
- Work independently, collaboratively and communicate effectively - demonstrate initiative, build positive relationships with participants, families, colleagues and stakeholders, and recognise when to seek guidance or additional support
- Maintain professional standards, reliability and consistency - respect participant routines, demonstrate dependable attendance, uphold qualified boundaries and maintain high standards of care and documentation
- Are adaptable and willing to learn - tailor their approach to individual participant needs and actively engage in relevant training and development
- Take pride in their work - contribute positively to participant outcomes, service quality and the wider support team.
