We’re looking for someone who is curious, adaptable and ready to learn to join our People, Learning and Culture team as an HR Officer (Talent Acquisition).

You’ll join a busy and collaborative Talent Acquisition team supporting recruitment across Latrobe Community Health Service (LCHS), working across recruitment, contracts, onboarding, compliance and HR systems.

Previous experience in a fast-paced HR or recruitment environment is desirable, but it’s not everything. Your willingness to learn, embrace change and adapt as priorities, processes and systems evolve is essential.

- Coordinate pre-employment, credentialing and compliance requirements

- Navigate recruitment and HR systems while keeping processes accurate and moving

- Contribute to process improvements and broader People, Learning and Culture initiatives.

What are we looking for?

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

- Enjoy working in a quick-paced, changing environment

- Are energetic,

adaptable and open to learning

- Take initiative and ask questions to build your knowledge

- Balance competing priorities with strong attention to detail

- Communicate confidently and provide a great experience for candidates and managers

- Enjoy collaborating and contributing to continuous improvement.

Why join our team?

This is an opportunity to build your HR career by doing the work, not just watching from the sidelines.

You’ll gain broad exposure to recruitment and HR activities across a large and diverse community health organisation, supported by an experienced People, Learning and Culture team.

From day one, you’ll have a personal training plan, a buddy and ongoing opportunities to build your HR capability. You’ll also join a team that continues to evolve, giving you the opportunity to learn, embrace change and contribute to how we work in the future.
