DIGITAL MARKETING SPECIALIST

ABOUT THE POSITION:
IWC has an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and creatively driven Digital Marketing Specialist to join our Marketing team on a part-time basis.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering IWC’s digital marketing approach. This is more than a social media role, you’ll use digital strategy, creative content, technology and audience insights to connect people with IWC’s services, stories and community.
You’ll develop and deliver digital strategies, create engaging content, support integrated campaigns, manage digital platforms and use analytics to continually improve IWC’s digital presence. You’ll also explore recent technologies, platforms and creative approaches to help IWC connect with diverse audiences across generations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and deliver digital marketing strategies aligned with IWC’s organisational priorities.
- Manage and develop IWC’s digital channels, platforms and online presence.
- Create engaging digital content including social media, short-form video and multimedia content.
- Develop culturally appropriate digital content that promotes health, wellbeing and community services.
- Lead the digital component of integrated marketing campaigns.
- Work closely with the Marketing Manager and wider Marketing team to deliver cohesive campaigns and content.
- Use audience insights, analytics and performance data to improve digital activity and engagement.
- Monitor digital trends, emerging platforms and new technologies to identify opportunities for IWC.
- Identify opportunities to improve digital workflows, audience experiences and marketing efficiency.
- Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, accessibility and cultural appropriateness across digital communications.
- Support the continued growth and development of IWC’s digital marketing function.

- Strong digital marketing, communication and creative skills.
- Excellent understanding of digital platforms, audience behaviour and online engagement.
- Strong content creation and editing skills, particularly short-form video and social media content.
- Excellent project management, organisational and prioritisation skills.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to inform digital decisions.
- Creative, proactive and forward-thinking approach.
- Strong technical understanding of websites,
content management systems, SEO, social media and digital marketing tools.
- Ability to develop engaging and accessible content for diverse audiences.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership and manage competing priorities.
- Genuine interest in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health, wellbeing and community-controlled organisations.
Key Requirements:
- Significant experience in digital marketing, communications or a similar role.
- Demonstrated experience developing and delivering digital marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Strong experience creating digital content across social media and other digital platforms.
- Experience using analytics, audience insights and performance data to measure and improve digital activity.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing platforms, website content management, SEO and social media tools.
- Experience with video and multimedia content creation.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Experience working within an Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation, health, education or not-for-profit environment will be highly regarded.
SALARY PACKAGE:
Your Salary Package is made up of the following:
- Salary Sacrifice Packaging valued up to $15,990 per annum – adding approximately $2,000 to your take-home pay (available after completion of probation).
- Meals and Entertainment Package up to $2,650 per annum (available after completion of probation).
- 9-Day Fortnight (for full-time staff).
- Superannuation valued at 12%.
- Annual Leave Loading of 17.5%.
- 20% discount on IWC Dental Services.
