Position: VET Trainner in Electrician/Building & Construction, and Sessional Lecturer in Electrical Engineering/Accouting/IT

Elite Education has established VET and higher education courses. Its vocational course is currently seeking VET Trainers and Assessors for Electrician/Carpentry/Building & Construction, while its UG and PG courses also need Sessional Lectures for Electrical Engineering/ Business & Accouting/IT to join us in providing high-quality educational experiences to our students at Sydney and New Zealand campuses.

Qualifications & Experience (Training Courses)

- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent in Vocational Education) and relevant Qualifications in the areas of training with current Licence for VET courses;

- PhD degree in the broad field of Electrical Engineering/Business/IT is a MUST for postgraduate degrees; and a Master Degree in the broad field of Electrical Engineering/Business/IT for undergraduate degrees;

- Relevant academic and/or industry work experience of a minimum of 2 years;

- Demonstrated excellence in teaching practice and be passionate in teaching;

- Be positive at interaction with students, especially with international students;

- Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office, Moodle and curriculum planning and student information systems, e.g., Wisenet.

- Demonstrate relevant teaching experience at RTOs, an AU or NZ University or a higher education program in a Private Higher Education Institution.





- Demonstrated organisational and time management skills.

- Evidence of engaging in scholarship of teaching and learning practice

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide high-quality lecturing/tutoring/practical training to students in accordance with our curricula

2. Maintain innovative teaching practices that contribute to an environment where students are encouraged to be actively engaged in learning

3. Assisting the Course Coordinator / Head Trainer and academic administrator in developing assessments and updating learning resources

4. Create an engaging learning environment for students to meet learning outcomes and successfully complete their assessment tasks

5. Identify “students at risk” and provide the required support.

6. Demonstrated ability to engage in research and scholarship through conference participation and publication.

7. Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities

8. Participate in validation, moderation, and quality assurance activities as required

9. Comply with EEI policies, teaching requirements, and all relevant AU/NZ regulatory standards
