As we continue to grow and welcome new clients, we're seeking a compassionate and reliable Support Worker in Whyalla to provide ongoing support to a client with complex needs.
About You & The Role
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker based in Whyalla to provide ongoing support to a client with complex needs. This position offers consistent shifts every Tuesday and Wednesday from 7:00pm to 7:00am, comprising 4 hours of active support and 8 hours of passive support.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care, supporting the client's daily living needs, wellbeing, and independence while ensuring a safe and supportive environment throughout the night.
Experience working with complex clients is highly regarded. However, comprehensive training and ongoing support will be provided.
What You'll Need

- The ability to work overnight shifts on an ongoing basis
We're Looking for Support Workers Who:
- Hold a minimum Cert III in Individual Support (Disability or Aged Care) or equivalent
- Have a genuine passion for supporting people living with disability
- Have experience working with complex care clients (highly regarded but not essential)
- Hold or be willing to obtain a NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Hold or be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check
- Have a National Police Check issued within the last 6 months
- Hold a current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Hold a valid driver's licence and have access to a roadworthy, insured vehicle
- Demonstrate strong communication skills and a person-centred approach to care
