About the Opportunity

The Attorney-General’s Department is seeking a highly experienced and strategic HR executive to lead its Human Resources function, supporting a diverse workforce of more than 2,500 employees.

Reporting to the Executive Director, Finance, People and Performance, you will lead a multidisciplinary HR team and provide trusted advice to the Chief Executive and senior leaders. You will drive workforce strategy, leadership capability, organisational culture and contemporary HR service delivery, while overseeing employee and industrial relations, performance, wellbeing, work health and safety, injury management and organisational change.

You will bring extensive senior HR leadership experience, sound judgement and the ability to build trusted relationships and deliver practical outcomes in a large, complex organisation.

Special Conditions for Employment





Employment is dependent upon a National Police Certificate clearance that the AGD finds satisfactory. Successful applicants will be provided further information if an interview is requested.
