About the Role
As an Enrolled Nurse working night shift, you will be an important member of our multidisciplinary team, providing safe, compassionate and person-centred care throughout the night.
You will help ensure our residents feel safe, comfortable and supported while maintaining high standards of clinical care and responding appropriately when residents' needs change.
You will:
- Deliver secure, compassionate and evidence-based nursing care
- Administer medications in accordance with your scope of practice and organisational requirements
- Undertake clinical observations and monitor residents throughout the night
- Recognise changes or deterioration in residents' health and escalate concerns appropriately
- Respond to residents' clinical and personal care needs
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Support the implementation and review of individual care plans
- Provide clear and effective clinical handovers
- Work collaboratively with Registered Nurses and care staff
- Support care staff in providing high-quality resident care
- Promote residents' comfort, dignity, safety and wellbeing
- Contribute to continuous improvement and positive care outcomes

What We're Looking For
You will have:
- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse
- A minimum of two years' experience working as an Enrolled Nurse
- No registration notation restricting your ability to administer medicines
- Previous residential aged care experience highly regarded
- Previous night-duty experience in aged care or a similar clinical setting highly regarded
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine passion for caring for older people
- Strong clinical and organisational skills
- Sound clinical judgement within your scope of practice
- The ability to recognise changes in residents' clinical condition and escalate concerns appropriately
- The ability to remain calm, organised and responsive to changing priorities
- Strong clinical documentation and handover skills
- A commitment to person-centred care
- A reliable, positive and team-focused approach
