Hybrid finance contract

- Month-end support, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, P&L; support, and recharges

- Large, global public transport and mobility operator

- Sydney CBD. 5-7 month contract. $60-80hr + Super. 3-4 days WFH.

Company Background

Our client is a large global public transport and mobility organisation operating across multiple countries. They are seeking a hands-on Financial Accountant / Management Accountant to support the finance team on a 5-7 month leave-cover contract.

You’ll be stepping into an established environment with templates and processes already in place, plus a handover period to set you up for success. The role also supports key deliverables across the December year-end.

The Role

Reporting into the Finance Manager, this role will focus on:

- Balance sheet reconciliations for allocated accounts

- Month-end accruals, including cost accruals

- Supporting a special maintenance division, including preparation of P&Ls;

- Project-related costing summaries and reporting





- Liaising with operational stakeholders (non-finance to gather and validate inputs)

Your Background

To be considered for this Commercial Accountant role, you will have the following skills and attributes:

- Immediately available with full-time working rights (short notice periods can also be considered for the right candidate)

- Working Holiday Visa (WHV – subclass 417) holders are welcome to apply

- Solid and confident communication skills

- Proven, hands-on experience in a Financial Accountant or Management Accountant role

- Intermediate Excel skills (v/x look-ups, pivot tables)
